This product is a compact constant current LED driver with integrated dimming, supplying a regulated 1000 mA to the connected LED module.

The LEDIM series combines driver and dimmer on a single board small enough to be built into the luminaire itself. The dimming is flicker-free across the whole range, including at the bottom of the curve where simple PWM circuits start to shimmer visibly – which matters for any luminaire that will be filmed, used in an office, or run at low levels for long periods.

This version accepts a PWM signal or a potentiometer as the dimming input, so it can be driven either from a control system or from a simple manual knob.

Constant current operation is what LED modules need: it is the current, not the voltage, that determines the light output and the thermal load, and a regulated current keeps both stable regardless of temperature drift or supply variation.
