The NLDD-HW series is a step-down driver designed to be fed from an existing DC supply rather than from the mains. That is a very practical architecture for multi-channel installations: one mains power supply feeds a DC bus, and a small NLDD driver at each luminaire sets the exact current that particular LED module needs. It keeps the mains wiring to a minimum and makes the system easy to extend.
