Diffuse Cover C22 for PO13 Flexible Aluminium LED Profile 1000mm
This product is part of a matched aluminium profile system for LED strips.
An aluminium profile does two things for an LED installation, and both of them are worth more than the price of the part. It conducts the heat away from the LEDs, which directly extends their lifetime and keeps the light output stable; a strip run at full power without a profile will visibly degrade years earlier than the same strip mounted on aluminium. And it carries a diffuser, which turns a row of individual light points into an even line of light, so the strip stops being visible as a chain of dots.
The profile, covers, end caps and mounting clips form a complete system, so a finished linear luminaire can be assembled from stock parts without any custom mechanical work.
About the profile system
An aluminium profile does two jobs for an LED strip: it spreads the heat away from the LEDs, which directly extends their lifetime, and it carries a diffuser that turns a line of individual light points into an even line of light.
